How does hifu skin tightening work?
HIFU Skin Tightening is an effective procedure that uses High Intensity Focused Ultrasound energy to safely trigger a deep reparative process within the skin.
It is important to understand that as we age, our skin produces less collagen and elastin. These are the structural proteins that give skin its suppleness and elasticity. As production slows, our skin’s upper layers gradually wrinkle and sag. In order to reverse this, HIFU sends ultrasound energy to selected depths below your skin’s surface. This causes small injuries to the underlying tissue. As that tissue heals, new collagen is produced, gradually giving you a natural rejuvenating effect.
We use the latest technology devices by Levura and Perfecte’me to deliver HIFU energy to the dermal tissue. This traumatises the treatment zone, which promotes healing, contraction, and collagen stimulation. During HIFU treatment sessions, your skin becomes firmer. These results continue to improve as new collagen is generated!
can hifu also be used for body slimming?

Our advanced HIFU technology can help eliminate localised fat in parts of the body, such as around the thighs or hips. how long does hifu skin tightening take to work?
It is possible that you experience some results straight after your HIFU Skin Tightening treatment. Generally, however, results can take up to three months (12 weeks) to show, after which they will continue to improve for up to seven months post-treatment.

In total, results from HIFU treatments can last for over a year although every individual is different. Factors such as lifestyle and genetics can sometimes impact the duration of results.

what is the downtime for hifu?
HIFU Skin Tightening treatments are completely non-invasive, so there is no downtime involved.
You may experience some mild aches immediately after treatment, similar to as if you had just been to the gym. Otherwise, you should be free to return to normal activities.
In some cases, there may also be some minor redness, swelling, and tenderness, which is temporary and normal.
does hifu hurt?
HIFU Skin Tightening treatments are relatively painless. Most patients only feel minimal discomfort while the ultrasound is being delivered.
how many sessions of hifu skin tightening are needed?
You should achieve excellent cosmetic results with only one session of HIFU Skin Tightening – one of the great advantages of HIFU treatment! However, depending on your goals and expectations, you may require a further treatment after six to nine months, or perhaps a little later in order to maintain results.
